There are a number of luxury condominiums located around Kelana Jaya or Petaling Jaya. For example, Sterling @ PJ developed by South Malaysia Industries was dubbed as one of the hottest condo in 2008. The developer having good track record managed to sell off most of the units right after it was launched into the market.

 

The clubhouse in Sterling with around 6,600 sq ft is popular among its residents as the clubhouse serves as a cafeteria and sports complex. What makes Sterling different from other condominiums is the availability of Internet broadband access in the children's playground. Hence, parents can bring along their laptops and surf the Internet while keeping an eye on their kids spending time at the common area.

 

The two blocks of 20-storey condo provide gymnasium, jacuzzi, badminton court, tennis court, swimming pool, barbeque area and multipurpose area for residents' convenience. Despite the fact that Sterling is one of the newest addition in the vicinity, the condo is located strategically nearby NKVE, LDP and several other major highways.

 

However, residents must be prepared to face the traffic congestion during rush hour. But nevertheless, Sterling is a good investment residential property as the condo is also situated nearby a number of shopping centres such as 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid, The Curve, Ikano and Giant Hypermarket.

 

For those who prefer tranquil and serene neighbourhood, then SS3 in Kelana Jaya is definitely your choice. Surrounded by other affluent neighbourhoods SS1, SS5 and SS7, residents also have easy access to plenty of amenities there namely Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Sakhti Eswary Temple, SMK Sri Permata, SS3 Civic hall and other shops.

 

Besides that, residents can reach shopping malls such as 1 Utama, The Curve, Ikano, Ikea, Sunway Pyramid and Giant Hypermarket within minutes via major expressways and highways. The properties in these neighbourhoods are costly as the houses are mostly double-storey terrace and semi-detached houses. Therefore, do not be surprised to find that most of the residents here are high profile politicians, businessmen and servant retirees.

 

Kelana Mahkota Condominium catered to middle-class income group located in SS7 was completed in 2005. This three blocks of 23-storey units are equipped with basic facilities such as swimming pool, gymnasium, squash and badminton courts, cafeteria, barbeque area, podium and basement ample parking facilities.

 

Residents here have access to nearby NKVE, LDP and Federal Highway thus enabling them to get to shopping malls such as Giant and Tropicana City Mall as well as primary school, SJK Kelana Jaya and secondary school, SMK Kelana Jaya. In addition to that, this well-maintained condominium is also located nearby the Kelana Jaya Medical Centre.

 

Population in SS6 resides either in Kelana Parkview, Kelana Sentral Serviced Apartment or the PKNS flats. Since Tun Abdul Razak University (UNITAR) is located within the vicinity, most of the students opt to stay in  Kelana Sentral Serviced Apartment. On the other hand, you'll notice that residents in Kelana Parkview are mostly working adults.

 

Even though there are limited residential properties in the area, traffic congestion in SS6 is really bad especially during peak hours. But then again, the properties are considered high in demand since a number of institutions and various facilities are located within the area.

 

Kelana Shang Villa is perhaps one of the condominium with highest density in SS7. This is largely due to the fact that the condo is strategically located within walking distance from MAS training Academy, MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya Park, Kelana Jaya Lake and Kelana Centre Point.

 

Besides that, residents can also easily get to shopping malls such as Giant Hypermarket, 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid and Subang Parade. Kelana Shang Villa has recently changed its tenure from leasehold to freehold development.

 

Kelana Puteri which is located within five minutes walking distance from Giant Hypermarket is an old condominium in this vicinity. Most of the residents are Unitar students. One of the biggest problems for the residents here is the limited parking space. Left with no other option,  residents have to park outside by the roadside. But those without own car do not have to worry as you can always take the LRT feeder buses here.

 

Located adjacent to Kelana Puteri, Kelana D'Putera has five blocks with a total of 625 units. As usual, the condo is fully equipped with sauna room, cafeteria, 24-hour security, child care centre,gymnasium and squash court.
